This is a COE Controller role reporting to the Finance manager in the Process Automation Business Area, based out of Vadodara; India. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing month-end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business or functions.
  • Performing cost-benefit analysis and ad-hoc or standard reporting on weekly or monthly OREC, OREC/REV order margins, inventories, POI, NWC, Cash Flow as per business/function’s request.
  • Supporting in preparation of relevant organization balance sheet, account reconciliation, financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
  • Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements.
  • Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future internal/external audits and reviews and maintaining SOPs for all activities performed.
  • Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Working with other finance professionals from divisions or areas or countries or functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance.
  • Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
  • Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Controlling/ Accounting or Chartered Accountant.
  • Required 2-4 years practical work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules, ideally S4H.
  • Experience with MS Office and Business Warehouse.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
