The Opportunity
The Marketing Analyst position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Marketing Department. In this role, the individual will craft, develop, and maintain reports, conduct data analysis, and provide concrete insights to improve the business.
What you'll Do
- Identify and analyze metrics to measure and optimize the marketing efforts.
- Run value analysis, marketing campaign tracking and results analysis.
- Use several internal databases as well as external data sources:
- Familiarity and prior experience working with large databases from SalesForce and Production Data warehouse are preferred.
- Design, implement and analyze A/B tests for different marketing media.
- Develop dashboards and automate the marketing reporting process.
- Communicate and present data and insights to the business. Proven track record to tell a compelling story with data.
- Understand the marketing strategy for the channel.
- Analyze & report on the critical metrics of the source and the performance of recent initiatives.
- Make recommendations to further improve results and assist with implementing those new strategies.
- Collaborate with data team to use tools and techniques developed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information systems, math, or statistics.
- Familiarity with database tools such as SQL, MS Power BI, Tableau or Python.
- Knowledge of CRM systems especially Salesforce
- Ability to interact directly with business partners and influence their decision using data.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
