Professional with a strong understanding of business research, metrics, and project management. Someone who can provide support to the Industry Operations in driving and supporting project initiatives related to the execution of Global Sector Strategies and Global Sector performance.

Skills and Competencies:

• Good understanding of industry operations in a professional services firm – reporting, operations, research, and communications
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English and an ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly to a wide range of audiences; ability to communicate with staff at all levels
• Excellent program management skills by asking good questions to understand business needs and goals, challenging the status quo and providing alternatives
• Demonstrate experience with complex reporting projects
• Ability to scope, plan, research, analyze, and present data in intuitive graphical formats to draw meaningful insights
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint and ability to integrate various technologies to support industry strategic efforts
• Should focus on the end goal and quickly adapt to changing business priorities
• Attention to detail with an ability to take ownership, make decisions, and execute
• Excellent team player with experience working in virtual teams

What you’ll do:

The Industry/Sector Analyst role will support the Industry Operations Leader and/or Global Sector Specialist(s) to ensure the successful execution of Global Sector Strategies and sector/industry performance. The role supports the Ops Leader and GSS(s) to manage and deliver a wide range of projects and deliverables, ranging from sector strategy development and execution to day-to-day sector/industry management activities.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Reporting and Analysis activities
• Support the development and delivery of consistent sector/industry level leadership reports for the sector/industry in PPT and Excel, and other formats, including design and editing of dashboards, data production and analysis, other analytical tools
• Respond to ad hoc leadership requests – providing data and customized reports as needed
•  Document reporting activity through PowerPoint presentations and Excel summary reports.
• Distribution Lists: Track and maintain industry/sector/region/community-specific distribution lists
• Presentation and materials development:
• Support the development of leadership presentations, sector overview decks, growth platform/solution area overviews, etc.
• Presentation review and design
• Updating and ensuring pitch decks and strategy decks are up-to-date
• GCJ Account Planning: Summarize/consolidate sector GCJ/GS account plans
• GAM/CAM-related activities, including:
• Additional support for GAM requests related to revenue reporting
• Potentially pairing with USI CAM resources specific to the sector/ industry’s Global Crown Jewels
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to offer support and service, in order to meet account objectives and expectations
• Ensure open communications and quick and accurate responses to leadership requests as needed
• Stakeholder management: Assist the team manager in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement programs including but not limited to calls and events, executive leadership meetings, etc.

Industry analysts/senior analysts serve as trusted business advisors to Operations Leader/Global Sector Specialists. This team is part of Global Clients & Industries at Deloitte.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Professional with 2-3 years of work experience
• Post-Graduate/MBA degree in Business, Strategy or Commerce from a reputed school
