Your role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Conduct accurate and timely credit analysis of counterparties, including Corporates and Financial Institutions, by evaluating business models, financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and peer analysis.
  • Prepare rating reports and credit reviews for senior approval.
  • Participate in live trades with onshore credit officers, providing recommendations and completing credit write-ups.
  • Monitor and assess international portfolios, considering rating changes, market developments, and news events.
  • Understand banking products and credit documentation, supporting credit reviews with appropriate checks.
  • Update limit amendments and credit data, monitor exposure, and clear excess tickets.
  • Manage a credit portfolio and assist senior decision-makers with informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with credit officers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of exposure and timely credit reviews.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects related to portfolio exercises, regulatory developments, and business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory and policy requirements.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as MSc, MA, MBA, CA, or CFA.
  • Experience in credit underwriting.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets and industry trends.
  • A solid accounting background with expertise in financial ratios, statement analysis, and cash flow projections.
