Description:

• Designs functional specifications of applications to address business and user needs
• Identifies internal and external factors which may impact requirements
• Documents requirements including customer journey, features, user stories, cross-team dependencies, separating core product build vs. integration features, outlining what is in and out of scope
• Determines objectives, dependencies, resources, timelines, metrics, costs, and risks associated with the proposed plans and initiatives
• Helps identify problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business processes and workflows
• Uses a variety of business process and workflow design tools and techniques
• Supports the evaluation of trade-offs from the incorporation of different elements into the design and their impact on overall functionality, interoperability, efficiency, and costs of the software
• Presents a compelling business case for proposed solutions
• Participates in the development of systems during various stages of the development lifecycle
