As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Messages Engineering and Operations team enables the Android Messages ecosystem to scale efficiently by providing technical triage and partner management programs.

Responsibilities

• Measure, validate, and review with stakeholders. Integrate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into vendor performance outcome
• Establish processes and tools that increase the number of bugs offloaded from Engineering
• Create and maintain training and debugging information for new features
• Establish benchmarks and goals that drive engineering outcomes
• Improve insights related to product issues, share those insights with Engineering and Project Management leadership, and conduct trend analyses by proactive reporting to stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

• 2 years of program management or operations experience
• Experience managing projects across organizations

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience influencing product and engineering teams with operational insights
• Experience in partner operations and/or bug operations
• Experience in driving process improvement projects in parallel to operational execution
• Ability to manage vendor processes and quality, provide oversight, and handle escalations
