The Opportunity
This role reports to the regional head of cross-asset class client connectivity. The Business is looking to have a composite onboarding process for Clients so that Clients deal with a single process for their entire eTrading onboarding needs. As part of the client connectivity team, the successful candidate will be responsible for Client onboarding and deployment operation across all asset classes within a region, including the management of FIX vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients connected to HSBC via fixed trading across all asset classes (Equities, Futures, FX, and Fixed Income)
- Working as part of the client connectivity team in onboarding clients wanting to trade with HSBC. This includes testing, certification, and client-specific configuration
- Liaising with the client connectivity business users to gather and document technical requirements related to the connectivity platform
- Analysis of client requirements and production of detailed technical specification
- Liaising with telecoms and network providers to provide connectivity to clients over the desired infrastructure
- Gathering and documenting system requirements to support FIX Connectivity architecture for Equities and other asset classes.
- Involvement throughout the project lifecycle including analysis, design, test and implementation
- Be an active participant in the Global team to ensure client connectivity issues are resolved quickly ensuring that HSBC’s brand is not negatively impacted.
- Work closely with the sales and product managers within the respective asset classes to deliver FIX connectivity across asset classes to Clients.
Requirements
- The role offers significant exposure to front office business users and clients and works closely with other HSBC offices globally.
