Position Title: Supply Chain Analyst - Digital

Reports to: Sr. Manager – Integrated Planning

Business Unit:  Janssen Supply Chain Organization India

Job Purpose

This is a visible supply chain role providing strong support for ongoing and new digital initiatives to deliver best-in-class Customer Experience and in serving Patient Needs. The person will be accountable for leading digital initiatives from a supply chain perspective, leading advanced analytics efforts for India and ASPAC region. Strong collaboration with IT, commercial team, regional team and other supply chain teams will be required with the prime objective to deliver a high level of customer service supported by efficient and agile supply chain processes.

Major Accountabilities

Digital Projects

  • Drive various digital initiatives for Supply Chain in collaboration with IT, Commercial, Deliver and other functions – at India and ASPAC regional level
  • Ensure all design requirements from the supply chain are incorporated with proper communication
  • Ensure smooth implementation of digital initiatives and integration with base business   

Super User for digital systems

  • Champion user for all supply chain digital systems
  • Accountable for data accuracy – at both input and output sides
  • Create and maintain a knowledge repository for digital systems
  • Responsible for training of supply chain team members on digital systems

Analytics Capability

  • Build robust analytics assets to support an end to end Supply Chain team to improve business performance  
  • Leverage visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and MS Access to support building-up Supply Chain Analytics
  • Drive Decision making via integration of Analytics with IBP processes
  • Driving the capabilities as a key differentiator Vs other Pharma companies
  • Develop a communication mechanism so as to track the effectiveness of analytics and integration with business users

MIS and Performance Analytics

  • KPI Management (MAPE, LIFR, Inventory, SLOB, New Product launch etc.)
  • Develop MIS for the supply chain to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Process automation for self-sustaining operating rhythm and improved supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

Key Skills, Competencies & Experience:

  • Engineering graduate in computer science/electronics/information technology from a Tier 1 or 2 Engineering college.
  • Fresher or up to 3 years of professional work experience.
  • Knowledge / Experience in Digital Analytics and Visualization platforms (SPSS, Python / R / VBA, Alteryx, Tableau / Power BI etc) is preferable
  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis capabilities and strong mathematical abilities
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Should be willing to work on cross-functional projects and take assignments in other supply chain domains.
