Your role

Responsibilities:

• Perform & Review daily, monthly, quarterly and annual Accounting /Operations functions.
• Preparation of primary financial statements and notes to financial statements by the accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements (US GAAP and IFRS) within agreed deadlines.
• Ensure agreed deadlines complete all scheduled work, checklists are signed and the pack contains all required documentation.
• Ensure that all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies comply.
• Ongoing analysis of client accounting records and escalation, where appropriate, of any potential issues identified.
• Coordinate with accounting, investment operations, reconciliations, investor relations and financial reporting teams for daily business.
• Respond to routine questions or queries promptly.

Training & development

• You’ll start with two weeks of training that provides an overview of the firm, its businesses, and the industry.

Experience & Qualifications:

• CA Intermediate qualified basic securities market knowledge.
• Excellent oral/written communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player who can work with a team of diversified backgrounds.
• Communicate well at all levels, liaising with team members and management.
• Willingness to work shifts (weekends and extended hours, only if required).
• Exercise high levels of discipline & concentration.
• A flexible, organised & proactive attitude towards work is essential
