J.P. Morgan serves four main client segments: corporations and institutions, governments, high-net-worth individuals and retail clients. It offers a wide range of products and services to these clients, including investment banking, treasury services, asset management and commercial banking. Your role
This nine-week program starts with virtual training, followed by five days of classroom instruction on accounting fundamentals, financial modelling, valuation, and Excel. Through hands-on experience and ongoing education, you’ll develop core investment banking skills to help support the clients’ businesses while launching your career in the industry. You’ll benefit from direct exposure to deals and transactions and interact with clients and teams globally.

You’ll join one of their industry or product groups for nine weeks, developing meaningful solutions for clients or executing high-value transactions. This program will provide the skills and experience to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor. You’ll learn the nature of client service and how they build long-term relationships by putting their needs first while developing the technical acumen to launch a career in banking.
Training
You’ll begin with a week of training to understand their products, services, and business practices. They provide supplemental training before you start and throughout the course of the summer as well as extensive on-the-job training. You’ll develop your professional network through various opportunities to interact with people from across the business as well as other interns. They’ll pair you with mentors to help you navigate the firm as well as provide career advice and make sure you’re developing your skills.
