Your role

Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

  • Audit service delivery - Be a part of the team that is responsible for audit service delivery and ensure timely and quality audit deliverables on the work done by yourself.
  • Content & industry focus - Build strong domain expertise (accounting & auditing) and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with US ET and improve the quality of work performed from GDC

Roles and responsibilities

  • Associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -
  • Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Understand audit procedures performed by GDC
  • Familiarize yourself with the audit documentation tool -eAudIT
  • Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM, CASEWARE, MS Office)
  • Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality
  • Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Participate in / lead team and group activities

About you

To be an attractive candidate, you should have the following eligibility criteria:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • MBA / Masters' degree / Post Graduate degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)
  • 0 - 1 year of full-time experience with a reputed company/firm

Technical Skills:

  • Audit and accounting knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills)
  • Strong English communication skills (Oral & Written)

Enabling Skills:

  • Attention to detail and quality consciousness
  • Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change
  • Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends
  • Should be open to travel to the US on short and long-term assignment
