Tax Associate 1

About this job role

• Help KPMG clients meet their US federal tax obligations. This includes examining financial records, US tax returns.
• Knowledge in assisting the clients with tax basis, earning and profits, transaction cost analysis and section 382 studies would be an added advantage.
• Also make recommendations on ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.
• Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data and uses standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in the Tax business.
• Develops knowledge of current tax legislation across US Tax.
• Recognizes the key capabilities required to deliver a high-quality service experience to the client.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.
• Understands key business accounting concepts such as depreciation, provisions and has a fair understanding of financial statements.
• Minimum Masters Degree from reputable universities with the excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
• The candidate must have 0-6 months to one-year experience in US Corp Tax.
