Join Microsoft Azure Data as a Research Intern to innovate with AI and machine learning in database systems.

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Collaborate with leading researchers and engineers at Microsoft IDC and Microsoft Research.
• Develop innovative solutions for database platforms incorporating AI and machine learning.
• Implement prototypes for scalable systems in advanced RAG systems.
• Present research findings and contribute to the community.

About you

Ideal candidates will have:

• Enrollment in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Experience in building scalable data systems or using LLM/machine learning for large-scale applications.
• Proven ability to develop original research agendas.
• Strong collaboration skills with researchers and product teams.
• Proficient interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
