Your Role
Data and Guideline coding, Documentation, and Systems Management.
Actively monitor the workflow for guideline coding requests. Ensure timely and accurate execution of requests including testing of rules to ensure coding is fit for purpose.
Validate and understand request requirements and be able to understand guideline intent when performing coding functions.
Manage prioritization of requests in a dynamic workflow and deliver completed coding to internal clients within the expected SLA
Proactively communicate with internal functions on the feasibility of new coding automation and data requirements. Expected to be the subject matter expert on guideline coding functionality in the systems.
Maintain overall system rule attributes (libraries, templates, hierarchies, business definitions,).
Ensure appropriate documentation and checks/sign-offs for procedural adherence.
Data set up and maintenance.
Perform validation and coordinate cleanup of data exceptions to ensure accuracy.
Understand data sources and data definition to enable correct setup, use, and maintenance.
Support the process of validating and updating information periodically, working closely with IT and Operations groups.

About You
Bachelor’s Degree required and any other relevant academic course a plus.
Strategic workflow and process re-engineering project experience.
Good guideline coding and technology skills in guideline coding systems, ideally Sentinel or Charles River.
Strong product experience including derivatives such as futures, swaps, options, and indices.
Good data management experience (referential data, database knowledge).
Strong team playing skills and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with the constant need to manage priorities.
Strong understanding of the criticality of accurate guideline coding and risks associated with incorrect coding. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Ability to work late shift (1 pm to 10:30 pm IST) to provide US coverage on a rotational basis (late shift cover expected once minimum coding and knowledge levels are reached).
