Financial Control Group Summer Analyst Program (Apr 2025)

Your role

The program has been designed to develop highly motivated professionals by providing a stimulating and supportive environment to understand the business and achieve maximum potential. On joining, Summer Interns will spend eight to ten weeks within the Finance Division where they will go through a structured training program that will provide an overview of the various Finance functions, products and systems, and applications that are used. During the internship, there will be senior manager presentations and professional skills workshops to provide you with a well-rounded experience. 

Successful candidates will develop and enhance their knowledge of finance and accounting by exploring the various financial aspects of one or more of the Firm’s business units.

Candidates will be expected to

• Understand the products and business.
• Understand the Risk and Reporting Systems.
• Overview of daily reconciliation, substantiation, and analysis. 
• Understand the regulatory framework and financial reporting.  

About you

 What you’ll bring to the role

• University student, who will graduate in 2026
• Good academic background in Business/Commerce with an interest in Financial Services.   
• Excellent problem-solving skills.  
• Knowledge of MS Office preferably Excel.  
• Strong communication skills.

Training & development

Summer Associates spend eight to ten weeks working on live projects, understanding the business workings and how Investor Services supports Morgan Stanley and its businesses.
