Your role

Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) provides fund administration services to the world’s leading hedge funds. MSFS is an independent legal and business venture within Morgan Stanley.

About the Product Development Team

The Product Development team specializes in creating technical solutions for intricate challenges in areas such as Portfolio Accounting, Investor Allocations, Trade Processing, and more. They also focus on automating tasks using cutting-edge digital tools like Robotics Process Automation and Data Analytics to enhance efficiency across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities of an intern:

  • Understand the hedge fund administration business.
  • Liaise with business users and development teams across locations to understand/document business requirements & create business process maps.
  • Analyze existing processes and suggest automation opportunities.
  • Understand automation opportunities, design and develop a flexible and scalable solution using available digital toolkits.
  • Test the end-to-end solution and make it ready for production.
  • Understand the project management and governance framework, and ensure projects are tracked and monitored proactively.
  • Work with Product Development leads and business users on solution rollouts across global clients.
