Morgan Stanley’s Internal Audit Department (IAD) reports directly to the firm’s Board Audit Committee and is responsible for providing independent assurance on the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley’s system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. IAD also serves as an objective and independent function within the firm’s risk management framework to foster the continuous improvement of risk management processes by identifying and assessing operating risks and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the firm’s related internal controls. Based on these activities, IAD develops an independent and informed view of the risks faced by Morgan Stanley and the effectiveness of the risk management processes employed to manage them. In doing so, we help drive firm resources to vulnerabilities.
The role will reside within the Internal Audit’s Operations team in Mumbai. The team is looking for an experienced individual who will support the execution of global employee programs, including new hire onboarding, training, recognition, and engagement.
Primary responsibilities (day job)
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to gather training requirements and logistics.
- Assist with managing the Departmental Training and Events calendar.
- Coordinate with regional conference centers and multimedia teams to book conference rooms and tech support for training and events.
- Provide logistical support for departmental training and events in India, Asia, and EMEA.
- Coordinate with the Talent Management team to create enrollment links, track training completion, and grant eligible training credits to attendees.
- Schedule and edit Zoom training recordings for the EMEA, Mumbai, and Asia regions.
- Assist in verifying Continuing Professional Education (CPE) eligible training adheres to the NASBA requirements and processes CPE credits for participants.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing program participant lists.
- Help prepare program materials (e.g., invites, training decks, etc.).
- Serve as a regional point person for questions about employee programs.
Qualifications
Skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, HR, or a related field is a plus.
- Detail-oriented.
- Organized with strong time and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfort working across various stakeholder groups.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office apps.
- Data entry, analysis, and reporting (mostly via Excel).
- Experience in event coordination is a plus.
Skills desired
- Two-plus years of administration, project management, event planning, communications, or related experience.
- Experience working on large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with Financial Services is preferred, but not required.
