Job description

We are looking for talented engineering trainees for our Production/Logistics/Quality

Primary responsibilities

• Support planning execution, coordination and control of manufacturing/quality/supply chain/opex processes of Sofa/EW/Solid Wood.
• Build knowledge and skills in different functional areas
• Support portfolio/program leaders (Managers, Leads) in developing/evolving/ deployment of Lean program process toolkit
• Support teams in designing data formats and collecting data on the shop floor
• Support engineering teams in measuring, understanding and making decisions based on operational fitness metrics (e. g., takt, cycle time)
• Implement strategies in alignment to provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Support in evaluating production costs and setting the quality standards/SCM.
• Improve performance of machines and drivers regarding quality timelines, budget and performance per employee
• Implementing quality check-standards and processes for incoming parts and in line production
• Help in Define KPI metrices for different verticals
• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities through Lean and best practices implementation.
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities.
• Collect, Monitor and analyse data to find places of waste for improvements.
• Should Have adequate know how of 7QC tools, TPM and Lean Six Sigma tools

Knowledge and skills

• B.E. or equivalent / Higher qualification with total 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing
• The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and vendors
• Basic understanding of lean tools and methodology
• Should have knowledge of operational and manufacturing excellence
• Ability to meet deadlines with the ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Hands on experience for Lean implementation, production systems, QC tools, EMS requirements.
• Results-driven approach to work with the ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
• Young professionals/Freshers with exposure to Lean /Opex/Quality/Production Management could also apply.
